She is survived by: her children, Lisa Simpson of Huddleston, Lori Merritt (Chris) of Chester, Tony Simpson of Bedford and Jake Simpson (Heather) of Forest; her brother Bill Cocke of Richmond; her sister-in-law Ruby Slayton of South Boston; and her granddaughters, Kristen Meli (Joshua) and Kelley Taylor (Brandon). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
