She was predeceased by: her father John Billy Carter Jr. (JR). She is survived by: her mother Rebecca Ann Carter; her husband William Smith (Bill); her son Joshua Smith; her siblings, Michelle (Billy Jenkins) and Andrew (Ashley Carter); her close friend Kathy Bruemmer (Rick); her nieces and nephews, Jordan of Jake, MJ, Clay, Isaiah, Lori and Ryann; and also, Ashley and Nicole. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Longwood Baptist Church (1304 Longwood Ave, Bedford, VA 24523).
