We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2021, at the age of 96, Louise McCabe Zimmerman of Bedford, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hamner Edward Ward and Mary Frances Gray Ward; her husband James Lewis Zimmerman; her son-in-law Eugene C Hawkins; and her brother Clifton O Ward.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Z Hawkins; her granddaughter Tamara H. Thompson (Keith); her great grandchildren, Josh and Caleb Thompson; her sisters, Dorothy Salyer (Eugene) and Evelyn Giles (Charles); and her sister-in-law Margaret Ward. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
