She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Butler Carter and Esther Rowena Overstreet; her husband James Robert Overstreet; and her son Steve Alan Overstreet. She is survived by: her children, Helen Overstreet, James "Sonny" Overstreet (Vickie), Raymond Overstreet (Joyce), Lois Holland, Frances Stanley (W. R.), Edith Hall (Jim), Carolyn Overstreet and Janet Brown (Alan); her siblings, John "Buck" Carter (Virginia) and Ella Mae Carter; and her close friends, Brenda Hudson and Louie Martin. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.
