She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Turner; and her siblings, Eloise Thomas of Colonial Heights, Dorothy Kitchen of Colonial Heights, Aubrey Luck of Colonial Heights, Jane Scarborough of Colonial Heights and Virginia.
She is survived by: her children, John F. Tuner of Lakeview, Stephen L. Turner (Charlotte) of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Joan Turner of Roanoke and Rebecca Meadema (Sam) of Danville; her grandchildren, Joel Turner (Courtney) of Roanoke, Jo Beth Jones (Brian) of Roanoke, Brad Turner (Lindsay) of New York and Abby Steketee (Steve) of Christiansburg; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Jaxon, Connor and Brady.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bedford Fire Department, 315 Bedford Avenue, Bedford, VA 24523.
