She was predeceased by: her parents, Fulton Wright Fuqua and Ruth Craig Fuqua. She is survived by: her husband Robert Gardner Simpkins, Jr.; her daughters, Sydney S. Schatz, Courtney S. Garner (Dennis) and Hunter Simpkins (Patrick Gustin); and her grandchildren, Olivia and Eric Garner.
