She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenton Welch and Josephine Girty Welch; and her son Warner Barnett Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Veda Alexander (Richard); her granddaughter Michelle Minor; her great grandchildren, Junelle Weaver, Erica Weaver and Myles Weaver; and her great great grandchildren, Jair Brown and Jupiter Weaver.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rader Funeral Home (630 Roanoke Rd, Daleville, VA 24083).
