He was predeceased by: his parents, William Capps and Pauline Conner Capps; and his daughter Lindsay Renea Capps. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lee Steele Capps; his children, Joseph Michael Capps (Brittany), Travis Conner, Gary Parks (Kayla) and Melissa Parks (Travis); his grandchildren, Alijah Bugg, Jeremiah, Kayden, Camden, Kingston Capps, Emily, Gracie, Gary, Gage Parks, Haley and Travis Hall; his siblings, David Capps (Yvonne), Ray Capps (Loretta), Marcus Capps (Dana) and Rochelle Capps; and his stepsiblings, Donna and Robert.
