He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisha Orea Hensley and Maggie Davis Hensley; his wife Mary Overstreet Hensley of Virginia; and his siblings, David Hensley, Grover Hensley, Marshall Hensley, Ezekiel Hensley, Ruby Draper, Esther Burnette and Stella Mae Hensley.
He is survived by: his daughter Angel Rae Courser (Steve); his granddaughter Holly Courser; his siblings, Leroy Hensley and Frances Parrish; and his sister-in-law Sally Hensley. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
