He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred DeWitt Chitwood and Lalar Hicks Chitwood; his wife Reva Margarite Jenkins Chitwood; and his brother Herbert Chitwood. He is survived by: his daughter Patsy Graves (Gene); his grandchildren, Lindsay Graves and Michael Graves; and his sister Judy Hodges. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
