He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lee Forbes Eckart and Edward Paul Eckart; his wife Irma Marie "Dinksey" Page Eckart; and his siblings, Paul Eckart and Bonnie Toms.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Eckart (Jody) of Bedford, Angie Woodson (Dwayne) of Amherst and Chad Eckart (Kim) of Bedford; and his grandchildren, Holly Eckart, Hunter Eckart, Justin Woodson, Caleb Eckart and Jacob Eckart. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a very close group of friends.
