We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2024, at the age of 77, Janet Marie Woodworth Putney of Bedford, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Alexander Walker and Virginia Louise Holland Walker; and her brother Bobby Walker. She is survived by: her husband Macon Cobb Putney; her children, Ann Putney Thompson (Kris) and John Putney (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Graham, Eliza, Macon and Kemper; and her siblings, Sue Holdren and Bill Walker (Janie Arrington). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bedford Humane Society or Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child.
