He was predeceased by: his parents, James O'Neil and Louise O'Neil (Corbett); his son David; and his siblings, Carole Chiavelli and Stephen O'Neil.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara O'Neil (Bonier); his children, John "Jack" O'Neil (Jennifer) of Beverly, Richard O'Neil (Margaret) of Bedford and Deborah Rzucidlo (Matthew) of Sutton; his siblings, Donald O'Neil of Westford and Christine Twyon of Medford; and his grandchildren, Erich, Scott O'Neil, Caroline, Jack, Margaret Rzucidlo, Jake, Madeline and Lydia O'Neil.
