He was predeceased by: his brother Gene Best; and his mother-in-law Madge Welch. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Mary Norman; his children, Jimm (Jewell) and Sara Dawn; his grandchildren, Reese (Amanda Norman) and Candy (Fennie); his half-brothers, Jay Clark and Howard Best; and his brothers, Roger Best and Buddy Best (Linda).
