It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta Jacobs Hamilton of Bedford, Virginia, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jacobs and Eva Jacobs; her great grandchild Ashton Short; and her husband Charles. She is survived by: her daughter Pat Short (Sonny) of Bedford; her sister Alice Heck of Arnold, MD; her grandchildren, Valerie Eckroth (Tim) of Huddleston and Vince Short (Shawn) of Goode; her great grandchildren, Anevea, Alden, Jarrett and Alainey Drane (Jacob); and her great great grandchild Charlie.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the building fund, King of Kings Church, 12371 E. Lynchburg-Salem Turnpike, Forest, VA 24551.
