It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Bowman Grant Goad (Bedford, Virginia), who passed away on April 12, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis B. Bowman and Dossie Iroler Bowman; her former husband James Thomas "Tom" Grant; her husband Archie Lester Goad; her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Steve Passaretti; and her siblings, Freida Bowman, Burlie and Murphy Bowman.
She is survived by: her sons, Randall Thomas Grant (Shirley) and Bryant Edwin Grant (Janet); her grandchildren, Katie Passaretti (Ryan Sullivan), Chrissy Passaretti, Pat Passaretti, Alex Grant (Laura), Austin Grant, Alisa Strickland (Tyler) and Stacey Grant; her great grandchildren, Jack, Declan, Kelton and Judah; and her siblings-in-law, Wilma Bowman, Jean Bowman and Freeman Bowman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
