He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene L. Pugh and Fleda T. Pugh; his wife Ruby Jean Riddle Pugh; his brothers-in-law, Jordan Moorefield, Wallace E. Riddle and Jimmy Charles (Mildred); and his nephew Ricky D. Moorefield.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lawrence J. Pugh (Lucille), Joan P. Moorefield and Hattie P. "Nora" Saunders; his nieces, Connie Mae Pugh and Teresa S. Brooks; his nephew Michael C. Moorefield (Pam); his sister-in-law Marie T. Riddle; and his niece-in-law Ellen Moorefield. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews, and many friends.
