She was predeceased by: her parent John Samuel Smith; and her husband John William Hodges. She is survived by: her parent Gladys Murray Smith; her sons, Thomas W. Hodges (Dianne) of Lynchburg and Mark S. Hodges (Julie) of Bedford; and her grandchildren, Jeff Hodges (Jacquie), Sherrie Campbell (Roger), Sam Hodges (Ashley), Jesse Hodges and Adam Hodges (Kim). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
