She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Smith and Dorothy Parker Smith; and her siblings, Doris McClain (Robert) and Roy Smith (Royal Merritt). She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Merritt; her brother Clarence Smith (Helen); and her nephews, Keith and Kevin McClain.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory-Lynchburg (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
