He is survived by: his son Dan Redmond (Margaret); his grandsons, Alec and Aiden; his daughter Marianne Redmond Smith (Tony); his stepgrandsons, T. J. and Jessie Smith; and also, Ron Sokol of Rich Creek, Virginia and E. C..
