He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Schubert and Marianne Schubert. He is survived by: his wife Gerda Schubert; his children, Edmund R. Schubert, William Schubert and Katherine Dodeman; his children-in-law, Terry Schubert, Anne Lane Schubert and Marc Dodeman; his grandchildren, Katrina, Alexa, Annie Kate, Morgan and Sam; his brother Winfried Schubert; and his nieces, Ester, Ursula and Sybille.
