We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2018, at the age of 94, Edith C. Stanton (Bedford, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Irving Berkeley Stanton, Jr; and her parents, James Kennedy Clendenning and Edith Miller Clendenning. She is survived by: her son James Stanton of Bedford. She is also survived by three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 1118 Ebenezer Road, Bedford, VA 24523.
