He is survived by: his children, Cindy Bays, Tammy B. Lawhorne (D. W.), Stephanie Bays (Dale) and Barry Bradley; his grandchildren, Justin Eubank, Jordan Eubank, John Cash, Maegan Cash, Karia Caldwell, Cassidy C. Cannon (Tyler), Camryn Caldwell, Kendall Caldwell and Daniel Bradley; his stepgrandson Chase W. Lawhorne; his great grandchildren, Eli Eubank, Edith Cash and Dalton Bradley; his stepgreat-grandson Chase Lawhorne; and his siblings, G. M. Bays, Jr. (Rosella) and Betty B. Crouch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
