She is survived by: her children, Michael Brown, James Polk, Jr. (Towana), Harold (Yulita) and Carolyn; her granddaughter Keisha Polk of Lynchburg; her brother Rodney Payne of Richmond, VA; and her friends, Darnell Paige and Annie Casey. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
