It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Harmon (Bedford, Virginia), who passed away on June 26, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy St and Margaret St. She is survived by: her siblings, James Nelson Lantz and Nancy L. Foster; her son-in-law Charles H. Tyler; her great grandchild Brooke Tyler; her former husband John L. Harmon Jr.; her sister Norma L. Moore; her children, John Harmon III (Barbara), Kay Harmon (Gary), Dennis Harmon (Cathy), Ronald Harmon and Susan Tyler (Barry); and her grandchildren, John Harmon IV (Candace), Karra Bloxidge (Wayne), Kenneth Harmon, Michael Tyler (Kathy), Kevin Tyler (Christy), Robin Austin, Patrick Harmon (Holly), Brian Harmon (Sejin), Dustin Harmon (Emerald), Dana Montgomery (Josh) and Lexi Harmon. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to The American Cancer Society.
