He is survived by: his wife Sharon Newman; his sons, David Newman, Jr. (Melissa Tomlin) and James Newman (Keri); his grandchildren, Cody Newman, Caylin Tinsley (Nathaniel), Taylor Newman (Logan Tinsley), Karlee Newman, Abigail Tomlin, Mazie Tomlin, Braxton Newman and Skylar Newman; and his siblings, Helen Chambers (Jewel), Albert Ashwell (Jessica), Lewis Ashwell (Laura), Martha Ashwell, Patty Lloyd and Jerry Hailey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special family friends.
