He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Spiegel and Mildred Spiegel (Soehner); and his sister Donna Spiegel. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Breaux (Jeremy), Amy Dabrowny (Stanley) and Mark Spiegel (Ashlie); his grandchildren, Nathan (Kayliegh), Alaina, Jeremy Jr., Chloe Breaux, Nadia, Oksana Dabrowny, Alexis, Jilliane, Sydnee and Noah Spiegel; and his friend Linda Cooley.
