He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Winthrop F. Puffer and Esther Puffer (Robinson); his stepmother Helen Puffer (Goodwin); his wife Jane MacFarlane of Lexington; his foster daughter Sara; his children, Mary Beth Morgan of Billerica, Daniel D. Puffer, Jr. (Lisa) of North Reading, Amy Girouard (Keith) of Tyngsboro, Sara Puffer White (Ted) of Pepperell and Scott Drew (Susan) of Virginia Beach, VA.; his grandchildren, Daniel (Hannah Morgan), Madeline (Jonathan Puffer), Joseph (Mya Girouard), Liam, Aidan (Colin White) and Chloe (Anna Drew); and his brothers, Winthrop F. Puffer, Jr., Stephen D. Puffer and David R. Puffer. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and their children.
