He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Lavern Kernen, Sr. and Betty Jeanette Miller Kernen; his grandparent Momo; and his sisters, Sandy Murphy and Tammy Allenberg.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Weston Smith; his wife Gwendolyn Joyce Craig Kernen; his children, Tracy Smith (Gerald), Jeff Kernen (Tracy), Casey Clark, Melissa Clark, Jeremy Baldwin, Crystal Kernen (Mike) and Joseph Kernen (Danielle); his grandchildren, Jerry Smith (Barbara), Katie Friess, Michelle McNulty (Earl), Ryan Smith (Corrie), Christian Smith (Madison), Holly Smith (Chris), Allie DeFord, Cody Kernen, Jacob Kernen (Kelly), Brooke Friess, Michael Deaner, Jr. (Destiny), T. J. Friess (Lindsey), Brianna Deaner (Paul), Brittany Kernen (Kent) and Natalie Kernen; his sisters, Paula Leal and Robin Garrison; his brothers-in-law, Michael Craig (Virginia), Robert Earl Craig, Jack Allenberg and Tom Murphy; and his mother-in-law Gwendolyn Craig. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
