It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Calvin Lee Bowyer of Bedford, Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mitchell Bowyer, Jr. and Rhoda Overstreet Bowyer; and his brother David Mitchell Bowyer. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McCulley Bowyer; his daughters, Angela Davis (Buddy) and Tammy Slusher (Kevin); his grandsons, Andrew Davis (Alexandra), Jacob Davis and Thomas Hackworth; his sister Helen Dooley (Joe); his nephews, Phillip Tuck (Jessica) and Joey Dooley (Christie); and his niece Kelly Ann Dooley.
