He was predeceased by: his parents, Miriam Geraldine Smith Raub and Paul Lester Raub II; and his close friends, Dr. Jeffrey D. Raub and Paul L. Raub III. He is survived by: his wife Annalyse Callahan Raub (Lisa); his daughter Erin E. Raub (Fabián Cordero González); his grandson Max C. Cordero Raub of Santa Bárbara; and his brother Dr. Daniel J. Raub (Linda Riley Raub) of Aurora, Ohio..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to two causes near to Brian's heart: the David H. Clelland Scholarship Fund (via the Community Foundation of Western PA) and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
