She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Ward and Dora Milligan Ward; and her sister Marilyn Hardie. She is survived by: her husband Robert Anson "Bob" Fowler; her sons, Brad Fowler (Cheryl), Craig Fowler (Kristi) and Daniel Fowler (Janine); her grandchildren, Hannah, Emilie, Rachel, Meagan and Sammy; and her sister Billye Best. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
