She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Monteith (Jimmie) and Pearl Monteith; and her brothers, James L. Monteith and Leonard W. Monteith. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Lotts; her children, Trish McDilda (Alan) and Eddie Lotts; her granddaughters, Tabitha Phillips (Shannon) and Pamela Krantz; her great grandchildren, Ashton Krantz and McKenzie Phillips; her brother Robert D. (Bobby); and her nieces and nephews, William Monteith, Allan Monteith, Robert Monteith Jr. (Bobby), Cathy Jenkins, Donna Clark and Debbie Monteith.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walnut Street Chapel (1235 Walnut St, Bedford, VA 24523). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Glasgow Cemetery (1208 Fitzlee St, Glasgow, VA 24555).
