He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Davis and Dollie Anne Hensley Davis; his siblings, Willie, Warren, Howard, James, Russell, John (Clarence), Bob, Mary Gardner, Fannie Gardner and Annie Davis; and his grandson Jacob Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Davis; his children, Laura Poole (Charlie), Connie Morton (Jimmy) and Warren Davis (Gina); his brother Sherman Davis; and his grandchildren, Dollie Morton, Whitney Poole, Danielle Davis, Heather Price, Lizzy Davis, Tabby Davis and Abby Davis. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and a large extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sedalia Baptist Church (1072 Charlemont Rd, Big Island, VA 24526). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Sedalia Baptist Church Cemetery (1072 Charlemont Rd, Big Island, VA 24526).
