He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lester Wood and Dorothy Pedrick Raper; his wife Bertha Mae Wood; and his grandson Matthew Johns. He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanette Wilson (Jerry), Virginia Schaitel (Robert Graves) and Christine Johns; his grandchildren, Courtney Howell, Megan Schaitel, Jeffrey Wilson (Suzanne), Elizabeth Tibbs (Josh), Darrell Kirby (Lynn), David Kirby and Christopher Johns (Megan); and his sister Jeanette Hancock. He is also survived by Eight Great-grandchildren, Three Great-Great-grandchildren.
