Newman of Bedford; and his stepsons, Robert Gentry (Gwen) of Lynchburg, Wayne Irby (Marietta) of Appomattox and Jerry Irby (Melissa) of Finley, OH. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
