She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene R. Brooks; her parents, Edgar Bumgardner and Hazel Bumgardner; and her brothers, Dennis Bumgardner and Ronald Bumgardner.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Rust (Kyra) and Kelly Schips (Eric); her stepdaughter Genia Laube (Fred); her grandchildren, David Schips and Shelly Wilkes (Scott); and her brother Jack Bumgardner (Rethia). She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
