He was predeceased by: his children, Rosetta and Earl Franklin; and his parents, Frank Wesley and Isabel Mae Cole. He is survived by: his niece Vanessa Cole; his nephews, George Minor, Robert Cole, Jr. and Jamal Moore; his cousin James S. Dyson; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Boone, Nancy Bray and Linda Moore (Carroll Moore); his caregivers, Gary, Letisha Boone, Earl, Gail Bolden and Thomasine Baylor; and his close friends, Kim, Cindy Robertson, Bobby and Peggy Satterwhite.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home (518 N Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA 23005). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (18562 Countyline Church Rd, Ruther Glen, VA 22546). A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the same location.
