He is survived by: his wife Linda Ray Askew Childress; his daughters, Shannon McFearin (Michael) and Heather Alentado (Matt); his siblings, Franklin Morgan (Sandra) of Mechanicsville, Ellis Martin (Sandra) of Ashland and Mary Ellen Schooler (Gerald) of Spotsylvania; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Victoria McFearin, Maximus and Lucius Alentado; and his daughter Lois Etta Walton of Mechanicsville.
