She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Hatfield and Janet Adams; and her grandson Devin Dean. She is survived by: her children, James H. Dean, Jr., Candida Wood, Rose Arnold and William Arnold; and her stepparents, Sue A. Hatfield and James Miller. She is also survived by two sisters; two brothers; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg (10719 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22407). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mount Comfort Cemetery (6600 S Kings Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22306).
