She was predeceased by : her father James Harold Hull; her husband Douglas Scott Surges; her daughter Dawn Deanna Champ; and her siblings, Jean Elizabeth Hull and Jimbo Hull.

She is survived by : her children, Nathan Jennings (Tiffany) of Amissville, VA, Crystal Shifflett (Rodney) of Gordonsville, VA and Amber Forry (Robert) of Bealeton, VA; her son-in-law Troy Champ of Bealeton, VA; her mother Gladys Elizabeth Hull of Morrisville, VA; her siblings, Eugene Hull (Renee) of Haymarket, VA, Benjamin Hull of Morrisville, VA and Carol Rotenberry (Rick) of Front Royal, VA; and her sister-in-law Darlene Hull of Bealeton, VA. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moser Funeral Home, Inc. (233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Stonewall Memory Gardens (12004 Lee Hwy, Manassas, VA 20109).
