She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Rose and Nora McCloud Rose; her husband Thurman Vance; and her siblings, Henry Rose and Dooney.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Dodson (Kevin), Cindy Vance and Debbie Burgess (John). She is also survived by grandchildren and fourteen great- grandchildren.
