Louise Katherine Short Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2023, at the age of 94, Louise Katherine Short of Bealeton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lanquin M. Barron and Virginia Gay Barron; her children, Roy W. Gray and Sharon Kilby; and her granddaughter Tammy Kilby.

She is survived by: her siblings, Marshal Barron of Rixeyville, VA, Annalee Fishback of Front Royal, VA, Ruby Hensley of Winchester, VA and Doris Cox of Warrenton, VA.; her children, Thomas Gray of Willston, FL, Chloe Layman of Richmond, VA and Clara Gray (Jerry) of Beaton, VA; and her grandchildren, Selina, Meloney, Tanya, Shane, Mandy, Nichole, Carol and Brent. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Bealeton Baptist Church, 11172 Remington Road, Bealeton, VA 22712 in memory of Louise.
