He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Robert and Faye Copley Vance. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Marlene Vance Gheen (Ricky Gheen) of Bealeton, Matthew Lee Vance (Rhonda) of Pounding Mill, Michael Robert Vance (Maria) of Herndon, Timothy Paul Vance (Jamie) of Opal, Philip Russell Vance (Mandy) of Needham, James Aaron Vance (Aranda) of Cedar Bluff, Joseph Allen Vance (Rosalyn) of Richlands and David Eric Vance (Kelly) of Cedar Bluff, Virginia.; and his sisters, Barbara Lamb (Bob) of Alabama, Donna Sizemore (Jim) of Virginia, Shelby Pearson of West Virginia and Jani Tomblin (Millard) of West Virginia. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Richlands Tabernacle (2503 3rd St, Richlands, VA 24641). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at 2505 3rd St, Richlands, VA 24641.
