She was predeceased by : her parents, William Benton and Helen Benton; and her grandsons, Jonathan and Chance Lewis. She is survived by : her husband Steven Lee Lewis; her sons, Steven Lee Lewis, Jr. (Jennifer) of Sumerduck, VA, Jesse Rex Lewis of Sumerduck and Bobby Lewis (Callie) of Bealeton, VA; her siblings, Gail Brown (Charlie) of Vint Hill, VA and William Jack Benton, Jr. of Shenandoah, VA; her grandchildren, Savannah, Kinsley, Colby, Katelynn, Austin, Grayson and Jackson; and her great grandchild Seton.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moser Funeral Home, Inc. (233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at the Morrisville United Methodist Church (4432 Morrisville Rd, Bealeton, VA 22712).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer society.
