He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Brenda Martin Mallette; his sister Linda Marie Mallette; his niece Melanie Lynn Mallette Walrath (Scott); his parents, Bettie Mae Backus Mallette and Richard Justin Mallette; and his grandparents, Edna Lowry, William H. Backus and Normanand Catherine Cloonan Mallette.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fauquier SPCA, American Legion Post #72, Warrenton or to VFW Post #7728 at Morrisville, VA.
