He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Wilson Rea and Mary Burke Rea; his siblings, Mabel Rea Wolf (John Jay), Horace Rea, Leonard Rea Jr. and Marcellus Burke Rea Sr. (Sue); and his niece Brenda Rea McAdams.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Cooley (Rob), Mark Davis Rea II (Vanessa), Wendy Rea, Mary Jo Patterson (Josh) and Andrew Rea; his grandchildren, Ashton Cooley, Marnessa, Malerie, Morgan Rea, Micah Riley, Layla, Leighton, Jax, Presley and Olivia Patterson; and his nieces and nephews, Dianna Rea Wolf, Patsy Rea Swain (Bob), John Jay Wolf Jr. and Marcellus Burke Rea Jr.. He is also survived by friends and family.
