She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosebud Mawyer Burgess and Willie Burgess, Sr.; and her close friend Baylee. She is survived by: her children, Boyd E. "Butch" Wade, Jr. (Dale) of Batesville, VA, Bonnie Wade Reynolds (David) of Gordonsville, VA and Martha Wade of Batesville, VA.; her friend Everett Shannon "Buddy" Mawyer, Jr. (Janice); her granddaughter Emily R. Sears; and her great grandchildren, Josie, Caroline, Wade, Eleanore and Weston.
