She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Melton and Mae Caudill Melton; her husband Willard Fansler; her son Charles D. Fansler; and her brother Marcus Melton, Jr. (Vondrea).
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Danielle Fansler; her grandchildren, Kavondrea Fansler, Charles M. Fansler, Suzanna Fansler, James Fansler and Lazandra Fansler; her great grandchild Isabella Fitzgerald; and her siblings, Ronald Keith Melton (Lena) of Lily, Katie F. Kennedy (Victor) of Coeur, Aline of Idaho, Loretta Bowling of Wooton, Sunny J. Smith of Wooton, Peggy Wydra (Jack) of Owensboro, Donna J. Smith of Avawam and Gwendolyn Crutchfield of Punta Gorde. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
