We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2024, at the age of 99, Lucile Cummings Dawson of Basye, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lucile may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lucile touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cummings and Mary Wilson Cummings. She is survived by: her children, Lu Anne Dawson, Ron Dawson (Roberta) and David Dawson (Lori); her grandchildren, Desiree Dawson, Danielle Culbertson (Daron), Michelle Dawson, Jack Dawson, II and Alexander Dawson; and her great grandchildren, Lavender Culbertson and Iris Culbertson.
